The CEO of the Jeep, Mike Manley, during an interview with British magazine Autocar, at the Geneva Motor Show, has announced the creation of a new model. Its design is unmistakably Jeep. Its main competitor in terms of size and structure will be the Nissan Juke, but it could also be the Mini Countryman and the Audi A1-wheel drive.
Taking advantage of its alliance with Fiat Multijet engine mount the crossover 1.3 and 1.6 petrol and 1.4 JTDM fine with different power. L'obiettivo di riferimento della Jeep è il mercato europeo. Manley ha però affermato che il segmento di mercato statunitense è praticamene vuoto e l'eventuale lancio del modello sarebbe anche appoggiato dalla ottima immagine dell'azienda nel suo paese natale . La vettura apparterrà al segmento B Premium. Le richieste di mercato, per questo tipo di prodotto, sono ottime ed il nuovo modello dovrebbe essere su strada entro due anni.
